I, Tara Murray, owner/operator established Dermatech Electrolysis in 1996. For the first five years the business was run as a franchise of New Tech Electrolysis in West Vancouver. In April 2001 I changed my business name and in July 2002 Dermatech Electrolysis moved to Newport Village, Port Moody.

After graduating from a 500 hour course at the Canadian Electrolysis College in 1996 I joined The Association of Professional Electrologists of BC (T.A.P.E.B.C.) and also obtained membership to the Federation of Canadian Electrologists Association (F.C.E.A.)

In 1997 I joined the T.A.P.E.B.C. executive board. I held positions on the board for a total of six years; four years as President, two years as Secretary and currently remain on the board of examiners.

As a Registered Electrologist (R.E.) and a member of our local electrolysis association (T.A.P.E.B.C.) I was required to pass their practical and theory exam. As a member of the F.C.E.A., I am a Certified Canadian Electrologist (C.C.E.) and as a Certified Professional Electrologist (C.P.E.) I am qualified to practice throughout Canada.

Dermatech Electrolysis is a small one person operation specializing in Electrolysis. My main goal is to provide consistent, quality treatments with the highest level of customer service.
