There is a certain amount of home care you will need to do to ensure proper healing after your treatments. Home care instructions differ depending on the area and your skin type. You will be given home care instructions customized for you in your consultation. All are very simple and will not take time out of your day, but will ensure your healing is as fast as possible.

The main concern with home care is to keep the area treated bacteria free for the first twelve hours after treatment. This means you may have to wipe the area with antiseptic throughout the day or evening. You don’t want to use facial products or makeup right after your treatment and you should never go sun tanning right after a treatment. The next day is fine for tanning or use of creams and makeup. The area will be a little red after your treatment (depending on skin type), this will calm down within 30min. to 4 hours. You may use ice after a treatment to calm the redness and cool the skin.

The treatment you get in the complimentary consultation will allow you to see how your skin will react after electrolysis. Most people have no problems at all after treatments but I am always available to call if you do have questions or concerns.
